Women Empowering workshop

The Women Empowering Workshop is an network project involving Ermua, Getxo, Basauri and Ondarroa town councils.

Objective

The workshop's goal is to encourage the social and political participation of women so that they can influence public policies, where they have historically been pushed to the background.

The Woman's House (La Casa de la Mujer) offers various courses information workshops, aimed at all kinds of people, and in particular at the women of Ermua, for their empowerment and participation.

In collaboration with the Immigration Service a Programme for the Empowerment of Women and Cultural Diversity is carried out on an annual basis with the aim of providing women of different cultures with a space for meetings and education that allows them to take the path towards personal and collective empowerment. Enrolment is free and can take place at any time of the year.
